The 47th ITaS School and Conference will take place from September 17 to 21, 2023, in the Ognikovo Park Hotel

"Information Technologies and Systems" (ITaS) is an interdisciplinary school-conference for young scientists organized by the A. A. Kharkevich Institute for Information Transmission Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IITP RAS). The first conference was held back in 1966. Every year, the ITaS School and Conference brings together over a hundred scientists and specialists from leading research centers, technology companies and universities in Russia and abroad. ITaS is a unique space for exchanging scientific experience, looking for related topics of interest in different fields of science, and creating new collaborations. Conference participants discuss topical problems related to information transmission and processing in living and technical systems, attend plenary lectures by leading Russian and international scientists, and present their research results to each other.

Over years, ITaS hosted top managers of the world's leading companies: Airbus (EADS), Worldsensing, Quantenna Communications, Huawei Russian office, Skolkovo resident companies: Telum, Datadvance, ElectroTransport Technologies, New Industry Venture Fund, and others. In the last decade, ITaS has become a welcoming platform for "adult" thematic workshops: WiFlex 2013, Yarbus 100 (2014), NEW2AN 2016, and Redundancy 2016. Among co-organizers of the conference were MIPT, National Research University Higher School of Economics, N.I. Lobachevsky National Research University (Nizhny Novgorod), I. Kant Federal University (Kaliningrad), Union of Rectors and Government of Bashkortostan, Government of Tatarstan and Kazan Federal University, Perm Federal Research Center of the Ural Branch of RAS. The geography of ITaS covers cultural and scientific centers of Russia, picturesque corners of the country from the Kaliningrad region to the Urals and the Black Sea coast.

The ITaS 2023 program is built on six thematic platforms:

The School and Conference will include plenary lectures by leading scientists and specialists from these fields of research. Young scientists will present the results of their research in the form of reports and poster sessions. For some participants this conference will be the first experience of presenting their work: ITaS is accepting applications from undergraduate students pursuing summer internships in the laboratories of IITP RAS.
